Feeling Safer, Even Far From Home

I travel pretty frequently for work, often by myself, and Safety Sisters has honestly given me a sense of security I didn’t realize I was missing.

When I’m traveling, there are always those little moments where you’re more aware that you’re alone: walking back to a hotel at night, taking an Uber somewhere unfamiliar, or just being in a city where no one really knows exactly where you are. I have traveled for work for so many years and I didn't realize the amount of anxiety I would hold in those moments of insecurity, until I had this little button to hold that allowed me to feel safe in knowing that help is minutes away, just in case I needed it. Often I don't! But now I actually feel my shoulders relax knowing that someone I trust can see where I am and that there’s a plan in place if something doesn’t feel right.

What I didn’t expect was how quickly I’d start using it in my everyday life too. I go for walks around 6 a.m. when it’s still dark, and now I use it for those too. It’s such a simple thing, but it gives me, and the people who care about me, a little extra peace of mind.

I would absolutely recommend it to women who travel for work, travel alone, or just want an easy way to feel a little safer and more confident in their everyday lives. The little button that you didn't even know you needed.
